Campaign / Student brief at Shillington
Brief: What are the biggest challenges facing British society today? One, the RSPCA do a lot of incredible work for animals that often goes unnoticed. Two, they need to attract a younger demographic to support them in the future. And three, people are stigmatised for walking their cats on leads. The task was to action a campaign to tackle this crisis.
Solution: Cat Walk – get a lead on your cat, stand proud, be fabulous and unite with likeminded cat lovers at a Cat Walk near you. Fully sponsored and supported by RSPCA.
The campaign is based around fashion and the cat walk. For some crazy reason it is still seen as ‘odd’ to walk a cat on a lead. This is about being fabulous. It is about being proud. It is about owning it and not caring what others think – join the revolution! As the legendary Tom Ford said “People will stare. Make it worth their while.”
